We’re a card game about death.
Morbid Curiosity, and its younger siblings Memento Mori and Postmortem, are a collection of skillfully crafted questions that invite players to explore the fascinating realm of death through trivia, laughter, story telling, and maybe even a tear or two. The rules are simple and easy to learn, humor and story telling is encouraged so as to create a delightfully dark and playful game night.
Morbid Curiosity is the original box of 164 trivia and discussion cards and is now in its 4th printing.
We have two expansion decks, playfully called the younger siblings. They can be played on their own or with the original deck.
Memento Mori is a collection of 72 new discussion questions and is now in its 2nd printing.
Postmortem is a deck of 72 trivia questions focusing on the science and adventures of the dead body. Released in February of 2025.
Super secret project is in the works for end of 2025… stay tuned.
The game is the creation of artist and therapist Kimberley Mead and her husband and punk rocker/historian James Young. Developed to create a surprisingly fun and curious way to talk about death, the original game was in development for over 2 years and launched its Kickstarter in August 2016. It successfully funded in less than 60 hours and is now sold in over 12 stores including the Mütter Museum in Philadelphia, the International Museum of Surgical Science in Chicago, and the National Museum of Funeral History in Houston.
